Main Club Management Committee

Southend RFC is managed and run, predominantly, by a volunteer workforce, with a handful of paid staff to ensure there is general business continuity. 

People are recruited, appointed or elected to roles in different ways, most appropriate for the level at which they operate and in line with the Clubs' governing documents. 

The below individuals are all elected to their roles at the AGM on an annual basis or are Co-Opted into fulfil specific functions the club has to undertake as part of day to day activity.

Mini & Youth Committee

As a sub-committee of the overarching management committee of SRFC, this is a group of coopted or elected individuals from the M&Y section of SRFC, given the responsibility of operationalising the M&Y activity in the name of SRFC. They are Elected / Appointed the the M&Y AGM on an annual basis. The Chair Person and one other also attend the overarching Management Committee for the club and the Club Safeguarding Officer is a member of both Committees. 

The General Manager, Honorary Secretary and/or the Honorary Treasurer also routinely attend these meetings on behalf for the overarching management committee.
