Home of the mighty Saxons. Southend is home to multiple teams on vairing abilitys from touch rugby to full contact.

The core of any club is their womens over 18 team and our Saints a true testament to our strength and community.

U13 TO U18 MENS
Saxons in the making, young men aged 12 to 18 learn develop their game as well as the importance of safety and respect.

U12 to U18 WOMENS
Young women aged 12 to 18 develop and progress their game surrounded by other future Saints.

MINI'S AND MIDI'S
Children aged 5 to 11, of mixed genders and abilities, learn to play rugby, take instruction and work as a team.

Children with special educational needs and disabilities aged 5 to 17 learn the joy of a team sport in a fun and safe environment.

Southend Rugby Football Club is one of the oldest clubs in the world with a long and established history dating back to 1870. As well as the Saxons (First XV) we have 3 other Mens teams, a Womens team, a thriving Mini and Youth section, an inclusive team and a SouthSend team (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
The Saxons are one of the highest placed clubs in Essex and won promotion in the 2023/24 season winning 21 out of 22 matches.
